Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most frequently about redeeming your lids.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Q: How does my lid donation impact my community?

A: Breast cancer programs in your community, such as breast cancer education, screening and treatment, benefit from every lid you redeem by December 31, 2011, up to $2 million. The share of the donation money distributed to your local Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® Affiliate will be determined by the number of lids redeemed from your area in proportion to the total number of all lids redeemed.

Q: What if there is no Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® Affiliate in my area?

A: If there is no Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® Affiliate in your area, the money will be donated to fund breast cancer research programs in your community. See http://www.komen.org for more information.

Q: How much will Yoplait donate to Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® with my lid?

A: Yoplait will donate $.10 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® for each pink lid redeemed by December 31, 2011, up to $2 million.

REDEEMING YOUR LIDS

Q: Can I redeem Yoplait^® lids, even if they’re not pink?

A: No. It’s important to redeem only pink lids. They're the only lids included in the Save Lids to Save Lives^® program donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure^®.

Q: Where do I find the code?

A: You’ll find the code on your pink lid, either on the top or on the bottom.

Q: How do I enter the code?

A: Once you find the code just click here and we’ll take you right to the “Redeem Online” page on this site to enter your code for redemption.

Q: Is there a limit to how many codes I can enter online?

A: Yes. You may only enter a maximum of 25 lid codes per user email address per day. If you have more than 25 lids to redeem, you can save them to redeem the following day.

Q: Why do you need my email address to redeem my lid collection?

A: We’ll only ask for your email address once when you redeem your lids for the first time. We’ll send you an email with a link that you’ll have to follow to verify your email address. Once it’s been verified, you can use your email address to login next time to redeem more codes.

Q: Can I redeem my lid online and mail it too?

A: Yes, you can! Once you redeem your lid you can mail it in and Yoplait will make an additional donation.

DEDICATING YOUR LIDS

Q: I’d like to dedicate my lid collection to my mother who is a breast cancer survivor. How do I do that?

A: We applaud your mom and all breast cancer survivors! Whether you’d like to honor your mother, your best friend, or tell your own story, you can do so by first redeeming your lid collection then going to the dedication page to learn how to share your inspiring story. Go to Dedications at the top of the page to get started.

Q: How many times can I dedicate my lids?

A: Every time you enter your lid codes to redeem your pink Yoplait lids online you’ll have the opportunity to dedicate your lids to someone special in your life before you hit the “Submit” button.

Q: I’d like to include a picture with my lid dedication. How large should the file size or format be?

A: To include a picture, your file must be in JPEG, GIF or PNG format and less than 5MB in size.

Reminder: You may not submit photos of children under 18. You may not submit a photo of anyone but yourself unless you have gotten permission from that person(s) before you post it. And you may not submit a photo belonging to someone else unless you have first obtained that person’s permission to post it.

Q: How old do I have to be to dedicate my pink Yoplait lid?

A: You have to be 18 years of age to dedicate your lid. So if you’re 19, 29, or 109, you’re all set! We’d love to hear your story.

YOPLAIT & DEADLINES

Q: Are all Yoplait^® products part of the Save Lids to Save Lives^® program?

A: Nearly all adult Yoplait^® products participate in Save Lids to Save Lives^®. All Yoplait^® yogurt packaged in either 4 or 6 oz. cups will feature a pink lid during the collection period. This includes cups in Multi-packs and Fridge Packs. This year, we have also added pink lids to Yoplait^® 4-Pack, Yoplait^® Delights^®, Yoplait^® Greek, Yoplait^® Fiber One^®, Yoplait^® Whips!^®, and Yoplait^® Club Value Packs. Yoplait^® Kids products, however do not participate in the Save Lids to Save Lives^® program.

Q: Can I submit the lids I’ve saved even after the program’s deadline of December 31, 2011?

A: No. We’re sorry; we can’t accept lids after the end of the program. But it would be great if you wanted to make a donation equal to the value of the lids you collected to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure^®. Contact a local Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® about where to send your check. You can find more information on their Web site: http://www.komen.org.

Q: Can I save my lids and submit them for the next program period?

A: No. Unfortunately, we can’t accept lids in later program periods. But watch for the next program period so you can start saving new lids. And, as always, you can contact your local Susan G. Komen for the Cure^® Affiliate about other ways you can help in the meantime.

Q: If I’ve torn my lid, can I still mail it in to redeem?

A: We can accept pink lids with small tears, so long as you send in the whole lid. Please don’t send in partial lids.
